In airline news this week bankrupt American Airlines revealed their new logo and paint job, striving for a new look signifying a new era. I am partial to their vintage look and will miss the eagle (although the logo is meant to be an eagle’s beak and wings). Here’s the airline’s new look:
Kids don’t care what airplanes and logos look like, but if we showed them photos and asked, I’m betting they would prefer this paint job:

It’s hard to imagine that this airplane and this look will be only a memory when Ella is grown. I hope the airline succeeds and emerges from bankruptcy to once again be the respected air carrier it used to be.
