Last week we finally made the short drive out to the Long Island Aquarium and Exhibition Center. What a great place! Ella loved watching all the sea creatures there and even holding a star fish! Of course I expected her to love it, as she really adores all creatures, great and small, and has really enjoyed all of the aquariums we have visited before. I was impressed, though, at how much 3.5 month old John enjoyed it. He was very engaged and loved watching the creatures swim around. He seemed especially interested in the sea turtle.
I think we are going to start “collecting” aquariums. Any time we visit a new place we will make it our goal to visit the aquarium, if there is one there. I guess that the next aquarium we visit will probably be the Dallas World Aquarium since we often visit family in TX and even though I grew up there, I have still never been to the Dallas Aquarium.
